Try Our Tea-Based Fizzy Blackberry Mint Sparkler Recipe

Minty goodness mixed with sweet blackberry flavor, all in a delightful fizzy drink? Who wouldn’t want that!

It’s exactly what we have created with our Blackberry Mint Sparkler recipe.

This recipe uses homemade blackberry syrup, sparkling blackberry juice, and our very own Have Hope—a caffeine-free peppermint creme tea.

Watch this video to learn how to make your own Blackberry Mint Sparkler!

The tasty blend of mint and berry is refreshing, and tantalizing. You can enjoy this tea spritzer with brunch, lunch, or even in the evening! It’s also the perfect beverage for entertaining.

Ready to try it? Here’s the recipe!

Blackberry Mint Sparkler

Ingredients:

  • Have Hope tea (prepared with the cold brew method!)

  • 1 cup frozen blackberries

  • 1 Tbsp sugar

  • Sparkling blackberry juice (we used Izze brand!)

  • Ice

  • Sprig of mint for garnish

The night before:

Prepare your Have Hope tea using the cold brew method. For an extra minty taste, we doubled the strength of the tea, adding 2 teaspoons of tea for every 1 cup of room temperature water and placing in the refrigerator overnight to cold brew. (For a less minty taste, use 1 teaspoon of tea for every cup of water).

The morning of:

Place 1 cup of frozen blackberries in a bowl and sprinkle with 1 Tbsp of sugar.

Let the blackberries sit and thaw to room temperature, creating a sweet blackberry syrup. (If you’re in a time crunch, you can speed the process up by microwaving the berries for 30 seconds, stirring, then leaving them to sit)

At serving time:

Scoop 1 tbsp of the blackberry syrup over a cup of ice.

Fill the cup halfway with sparkling blackberry juice.

Fill the cup the rest of the way with tea.

Stir, then add a sprig of mint.

Enjoy! 😊

Adjust to Your Taste

Prefer something a little sweeter? You can easily adjust this recipe by adding more of the sparkling juice and less tea.

Toss in some fresh blackberries for extra garnish and flavor. You can even experiment with different blackberry sparkling sodas or seltzers!
